When starting at Hogarth my main role was to work closely with the Rolex digital creation team to provide rapid on-site testing of new creatives and ensure that brand guidelines are strictly adhered to. I have been able to use my knowledge of banner advertising to help a rapidly growing team understand the complexities of ad formats, platforms and testing procedures.As the team grew in response to new contracts my role evolved, I became responsible for the coordination and training of several teams of off-site testers spanning 3 continents.My role now included the management of the HyperQA process and reporting on the live status of our ads on dozens of sites. These sites covered many international markets that were monitored daily, they required localisation testing, tracker verification and visual inspection. I was responsible for designing and implementing the test plans, coordinating testers and ensuring that all tests results were accurate and well documented. I often assisted in creating the daily reports for both project managers and clients as well as advising PMs on how to communicate with Publishers to get Issues resolved quickly.In this role I have developed my skills in Excel, Sharepoint, Testrail, Team Leadership and the complexities of HyperQA.

As lead I have been responsible for ensuring the highest level of ad quality and user experience of all digital advertising campaigns, on both mobile and desktop. I work alongside developers, designers and producers to ensure that all campaign deliverables are produced to the highest standard, within tight deadlines and complaint with branding guidelines. My daily duties would be to execute pre-defined tests and perform manual exploratory testing and investigations on all types of ad creative’s over all supported platforms. My role also required me to serve as a daily point person for any ad related complex troubleshooting across our platforms. I have provided full support and documentation on technical, creative related inquiries from clients or sales team.I have had the opportunity to work closely with management from all departments as a liaison on projects, new procedures, new systems, workflows, best practices and campaign or creative issues.Several times have been able to identify, recommend and implement tools and systems that will improve performance/quality as is relates to our suite of ads. Most notably I introduced and championed the JIRA software suite and the Kanban process, allowing for better efficiency and communication within the creative department.One of the more challenging aspects of my role was training QA, Production and Management staff on the digital departments procedures and software. This required full tutorial style documentation as well as live training sessions. In this role I have developed my skills in JIRA Admin, GitHub, Kanban, Agile, Efficiency Management, Ad Serving Platforms and Staff Training.

In my role as QA Lead I have become experienced in the training of new testers and the management of their daily duties. I have had the opportunity to work closely with clients to asses their testing requirements and ensure that all their needs are met in a timely manner. I have been responsible for producing daily comprehensive reports for clients. These reports would highlight key areas of interest, allowing the development team to easily prioritise the most severe issues.QA leads are also required to take an active role in testing, over time I have developed a keen sense for bug finding. My areas of testing expertise include, games, mobile apps, websites and casino hardware.In this role I have developed my skill in Leading Small Teams, Bug Tracking, Debug Software, Device Compatibility, Progress Reports and Client Communication.
