My responsibilities include:-Writing, editing and submitting scientific manuscripts for academic journals.-Creating and refining figures, slideshows, and other scientific materials for publication and presentation.-Writing grant proposals, budgets and other materials for submission to the National Institutes of Health and similar funding.

In this role, I built systems to ensure the Executive Director’s and Founder & Chief Academic Officer’s needs would be met efficiently, and I resolved new operations obstacles that arose as the organization grew in its second year of operation. This included writing and editing grant proposals and directing organizational accounts receivable.

I wrote and distributed a wide variety of fundraising communications, processed financials, and provided administrative support as needed.
