- Monitor and manage the NASA-Russia Checkpoint firewalls, Palo Alto Firewalls, Proxy server, Mobile Device Management, and Data at Rest.- Designs and conducts regular audits on NASA-Russia computer systems and networks to determine if they are operating securely and that data is protected from both internal and external threats.- Maintain and update NASA-Russia security policies on a regular basis.- Assess NASA-Russia systems to determine the system security status and ensures compliance to Federally mandated security policies, procedures and standards (HSPD12, FISMA, NIST).

July 2014 - June 2015, Active Duty under Operations Enduring Freedom, and Resolute Support.I Served as a Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) Support Officer, providing sustainment and base life contract support to the deployed warfighter. I embedded with supported units to analyze gaps in organic sustainment capabilities and assisted the supported unit with bring LOGCAP program capabilities to meet those requirements. I liaised with Senior Regional Commanders, Garrisons, contractors, and Administrative Contracting Officers (ACO) to ensure services are provided on time, efficiently, and to standard. I advised the requiring activity on cessation of services and Forward Operating Base (FOB) closure to meet drawn down objectives.

- Monitor and maintain IDS/IPS customer devices for possible intrusions and infected systems.- Perform Policy Change Requests for clients on various devices to include: Cisco Pix, Cisco IDS/IPS, Checkpoint Firewall, Netscreen Firewall, Proventia IDS/IPS.- Alert and investigate hardware problems directly with clients.- Ensure information security policies are applied in new and existing applications.
