I always wanted to run my own business ever since I was a child. My father was a business owner and always encouraged the idea of starting my own business and having money work for me and work to learn opposed to getting a job and work for money. I realised early on that life is the best teacher and we learn through experience. We go through our lives and it pushes us around. Some people give up and others fight. A few learn the lesson and move on. I always thought a job is just a short term fix for a long term problem. We allow our emotions to do our thinking. Its fear that keeps us in a job: the fear of not being able to pay their bills, the fear of not having enough money, the fear of being fired, the fear of starting over. Thats the price of studying to learn a profession or trade and then working for money. Most people become a slave to money and get angry with their boss. I want to work to learn and have money work for me by managing a passive income and increasing how much my active time is worth by expanding this business.I am currently running a business as a professional magician and a graphics designer already. I was trained by a magician and was one of the youngest professional magicians in the UK. From being a magician I have learned a lot about business that will help me make my businesses a success. These include: Sales and communications with customers, planning and project management, marketing online and managing finance. Most importantly I have learned that trial and error is the best way to learn and being persistent and doing the same thing over and over and work towards your goals. Learning and adapting as you go is the key to success.
