Community organiser for Co-op food stores in Aberdeen. Working with local charity partners to support their fundraising activities. Through the administration of Co-op community grants and promote their events. Managing local applications to the Local Community Fund and selecting local charity partners on an annual basis. Using social media to promote Co-op charity and community initiatives.

In this role I was charged with delivering and designing tutorials on a range of subjects to develop students’ knowledge and skill sets, coaching them to succeed in their assessments. I was responsible for, designing course content, marking all my students’ assessments within a 3 week time frame; providing advice and guidance to students, and assisting those with special requirements to access student support services and develop strategies for completing their assessments. From 2020, I was asked to act as a mentor for new tutors by the Head of Department. In 2023 I was a guest lecture on several undergraduate courses, giving lectures to 20 to 80 students.

As Young Liberals International Officer I manage relations with our sister parties and international affiliates (LYMEC and IFLRY). Representing Young Liberals and the Liberal Democrats internationally at our affiliates and sister parties congresses and events.In the summer of 2018, I successfully led a bid for Young Liberals to host European Liberal Youths 2019 Autumn Congress. As International Officer, I service as main organiser for this event which brings together 130 delegates from across Europe.In addition, to these main responsibilities, I manage the Young Liberals international budget and advice on international policy and campaigns. As Young Liberals International Officer I am ex officio member of the Liberal Democrat International Relations Committee and Liberal International British Group executive committee serving as their young peoples representative.

A six month trainship at the Department of History and Civilization at the European University Institute, Florence (EUI) as an Administrative Trainee. In this role I provided academic administrative and event management support to professors, fellows and researchers of the EUI. Additionally, I proof read and provided English language advice on documents and publicity material that is circulated both inside and outside of the EUI.While at the Department of History and Civilization I took the lead role in developing and implementing the departments social media strategy: with a focus on using twitter to promote departmental events and the research of students and staff.

During this nine month internship at South Somerset District Council (SSDC) I was primarily involved with research and policy support for the Communities Department, South Somerset Together (SST) and SSDC’s Equalities Officer: providing targeted research, policy development support and language advice on a diverse range of issues with a particular focus on SSDC’s welfare policy’s and the recent changes to the welfare system. In addition to these core responsibilities I provided administrative and event management support to the SST Coordinator and SSDC Equalities Officers. As well as working closely with the Communities Assistant Director to provide extra capacity for the corporate communities team and individual Area Development Teams.

In this position I was the constituency based Research Assistant for the former MP of St Ives, Cornwall, Andrew George. In this position my duties included: managing Mr Georges parliamentary diary; arranging meetings with ministers, MPs, constituents and other interested parties. Preparing briefings on various topics to allow Mr George to carry out his duties as an MP both in the St. Ives Constituency and in Westminster. Responding to constituents correspondence and working with Mr Georges Communication Assistant to manage social media and relations with traditional media.While working for Mr George I have also been involved with development of his Private Members Bill (The Affordable Homes Bill 2013-14), this has been primary research and clerical work in the run up to the Bills Second Reading which was on the 5th September 2014.

Working with existing branches to recruit new members and build effect campaign teams, creating new branches and building them into active branches capable of taking part in campaign's. Also fostering social relationships between members of IR Cymru and encouraging participation in Federal and Welsh party events and campaigns.

Organising student campaigns and coordinating with local campaigns organiser student involvement in campaign's, recruiting new society members and encouraging participation in local and national campaign's, membership of IR Cymru Campaign's committee, membership of Ceredigion Liberal Democrats Campaign's Committee, managing student action days, running social media on behalf of the society.

Hosting and organising society events such as guest speakers, meals and reading group, liaising with 'International Politics department', managing social media, membership of international politics Christmas and Graduation ball committee's.
