Worked alongside members of Water Survey Canada in the Research and Innovation department.-Assisted in the development of new flood prediction models.-Took part in surveying of streams and rivers.-Used tools such as Python, Microsoft Excel, and HEC-RAS to help develop mathematical models of physical hydrology.-Helped to develop the SOP for the use of several newly introduced tools and procedures for the department, including the use of GPS surveying tools.

Interned with the City’s Public Works department.-Assisted with stormwater sewer bylaw enforcement, monitored areas of the environmental concern in the city, collected soil and water samples, and responded to 311 calls regarding potential environmental concerns.-Assisted the City’s environmental permitting department, reviewed and approved ESA I and II reports.-Conducted environmental site inspections at industrial properties such as scrap yards and food processing plants.
