About Benjamin Acklin
As an Appalachian transport in Washington, I've always been inspired by environment. With an emphasis on sustainability and textile experimentation, my designs express the importance of quality fabrics and attention to detail. My brand, Ocular, is my platform to release ready-to-wear pieces which can be found in two locations in NYC ( Art To Ware in the World Trade Center Oculus and the Port Authority bus terminal location also). My experience with running L.A.B. Art Collective in college opened up the doors to learning new leadership skills and the world of event planning. Currently I work the sales floor in the menswear department of the Tacoma Mall Nordstrom and everyday am the learning the art of sales and customer service.
