About Ben Crosby
I believe in designing systems to make public education work for all students. I began my career in public education as a high school teacher in Northern California. In the classroom, I saw the impact high-quality career paths had on at-risk youth. This experience gave me faith that college and career readiness for all is noble work. It ignited a passion to develop agency and more positive identities for those farthest away from opportunity. After 7 years in the classroom, I began a move into a coaching role where I supported district-level development and improvement of college and career pathways. From there, I was recruited to serve with ConnectED, a national education non-profit. Today, I work as Director of Technology and Media for ConnectED's digital learning and media team. Our mandate is to develop ConnectED's digital ecosystem to support our practitioners in the college and career readiness field. When I'm not busy innovating, evolving, and scaling better education systems, I spend my time enjoying fatherhood, surfing, reading, and playing bass guitar.
