Working at AARP, I created assets for state and national fraud outreach initiatives, including AARP’s weekly state scam alerts, content for social channels, and digital infographics about current scams. I had the opportunity to participate in the event planning for the 300-person inaugural AARP Financial Fraud Outreach Summit. This included coordinating logistics, creating digital displays, and session monitoring for agencies such as the FBI, FTC, and USPIS.I also built a new internal Sharepoint site for the fraud team, allowing easier dispersal of fraud content to AARP state offices. In addition, I managed AARP’s Fraud Watch Network Scam Tracking Map by triaging and posting over 4,000 legitimate scam submissions. All of this work raised fraud awareness nationwide.

In this position, I facilitated data collection for an online travel review analysis project of an Indigenous community by web scraping 1,200 reviews, developing and implementing a revitalized research framework, and analyzing data to extract trends. I then synthesized these insights into 14 key findings on tourism in the Indigenous community. These findings were directly presented to community stakeholders as part of the Institute’s destination management consulting project.In addition, I guided data normalization and management efforts for multiple other ongoing department research projects.

Interning at Hillel, I led an effort to streamline the processing of Hillel’s student engagement data by implementing automation into 80% of database uploads. To achieve this, I cleaned, sorted, and formatted an average of 15 Excel files weekly consisting of data on 1000+ students. In addition, I managed student demographic profiles and updated engagement data in Hillel's database. This work directly allowed Hillel staff members to monitor student involvement.

While working at MSB, I processed an average of 60 daily transactions including loan payments, deposits, and withdrawals while fostering strong relationships with customers and assisting them with their financial and investment concerns. This often entailed engaging in frequent discussions about the bank's investment products and its wealth management services. I also diligently worked to protect the bank’s assets and customers' accounts. Throughout the summer, I identified and prevented 25+ suspicious and fraudulent transactions involving cash withdrawals and invalid and falsified checks. In addition, I demonstrated exceptional cash-handling skills while managing amounts upwards of $60,000 without error and while strictly adhering to security and regulatory protocols.

While working as an administrative assistant at Hillel, I greeted and assisted students and guests in person and on the phone, helping them with any questions, requests, or issues. I also aided in organizing and staffing Hillel-sponsored events, for which I was often responsible for the set-up, check-in, and clean-up.

I often worked the register, where I welcomed and built relationships with customers, providing a meaningful and personable customer experience. In addition, I poured and served beer and wine safely according to state regulations. I also created a new par inventory tracking sheet for the store, which reduced waste and minimized food costs. To help make the store as efficient as possible, I also reorganized the inventory storage room and assisted in accepting and putting away twice-weekly food deliveries.

Interning at Artifact 5, I aided in the launch of their soon-to-be-released video game by discovering comparable games and conducting market research. This research entailed analyzing the sales and profits of competitors; this data was directly used to pitch the game to investors. I also created a press list of 50 active content creators interested in the genre of Artifact 5’s game.

Interning at Family Grounds, I worked on a wide variety of projects. One of my major accomplishments was completing a data entry tax project to write off $10,000+ of outstanding payments. In addition, I arranged and executed a large donation project obtaining $10,000+ in tax write-offs for the company. Some daily responsibilities included communicating with and scheduling meetings with outside contractors, managing job postings, and creating advertisements for open positions.
