With extensive knowledge and training in the Defence Force Security area, I am confident in dealing with situations which may involve troubled or aggressive persons. Communication and reasoning with individuals and groups from a wide spectrum of backgrounds and ethnicities is a skill which I was thoroughly taught, and negotiating based on their situation or motives is a defining part of my character. Having taken part in military and security specific training, I have learned to work well under pressure, as well as work as a team, which was a core part of our intensive first 3 months of the military.Demonstrating an ability to lead has caused many breakthroughs in team based activities during our military tasks, which I had received very positive feedback from instructors at the end of training.Having people struggle during Air Force Basic Training was common, and in order to assist them in overcoming these hurdles, I was able to effectively help them find their inner strength by uses of motivational words and helping them physically with the more strenuous activities. My ability and passion to help those in overcoming hurdles is essential when passing basic training and a trait in which I now use as often as possible.
