My passion and talent is helping businesses envision, create and utilize physical representations of their brand to connect with and deliver lasting benefit to customers. My professional training is in interior design and architecture and I spent the bulk of my career applying that to retail store and corporate office design; primarily at Apple. While doing so, I became knowledgeable and skilled at managing domestic and international retail development; the real estate, store design and construction processes by which brick and mortar retail stores are created and situated. Additionally, I’ve engaged in strategic consulting with direct to consumer startups interested in exploring and/or expanding into physical spaces, serving as a mentor to guide them through that early exploration and/or expansion. I’ve conducted this work as both a consultant and as an internal hire. 

The result of my career thus far is that I’m as comfortable and experienced operating within large, established businesses as I am in startup brands and have a unique perspective and understanding of business and, specifically, physical space creation because of it. I am able to be effective in every stage of growth from early stage brand strategy and concept visioning to late stage development rollout and on-going preservation. I seek to continue engaging with and assisting businesses that wish to break molds, forge new paths and enrich the lives of their customers, and who believe that design plays a crucially important role in helping achieve those goals in thoughtful, inspirational and environmentally responsible ways.
