Landscape Architect with 20+ years of continuous experience focusing on recreation, mountain planning, resorts, trails, parks, community revitalization and open space preservation projects, from concept design through construction. Throughout my career I've been fortunate to work on projects around the country that have shaped the outdoor world and enhanced people's lives. Along with design projects, I've lead planning projects from trails master plans to parks master plans, ski area design, and transportation enhancement projects. Some favorite projects I've worked on include: Spooner Frontcountry, and Visitor Center, Heavenly Mountain Resort, Northstar Village, Jackie Lee Houston Plaza, Heritage Park in Henderson, Tahoe Donner Trails Master Plan, 56 Acres Master Plan, Harrison Avenue Streetscape and Champions Plaza, Kings Beach Revitalization, Downtown Carson City, Heritage Plaza in Tahoe City, Bijou Bike Park, Heavenly Adventure Peak, Rancho Corral de Tierra, Van Sickle Bi-State Park, Corral Trail. In addition to my day job, I've been able to marry my passions for the outdoors with my profession. The skills I've acquired as a landscape architect have allowed me give back to my community by helping start and run a trails focused non profit for over a decade. I helped revitalize the Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association in 2010 and served as president for 10 years, leading multiple projects, and helping author a strategic plan that outlined a transition to paid staff and trail builders. Currently the organization is thriving with a mix of volunteers and paid staff.Fun fact: I have been snowboarding every month continuously since November 2016, along with my son who skis. We are approaching our goal of 100 straight months.
