Part of a team tasked with doing initial analysis related to the Systematics to MBP convergence project, as well as keeping the existing MBP product up to date. Worked with product teams in gathering data related to rationalizing 180 disparate banking products into a smaller group of 15-20. Began review of all ancillary systems related to Systematics. Accumulated information related to functional gaps that exist between Systematics and MBP.Using Agile methodologies, worked on team that shepherded MBP product releases and maintenance fixes through the product life cycle.

Scrum Master for DevSecOps team. Facilitated scrum ceremonies (Daily Standup, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives). Kept track of team productivity metrics (e.g., burndown, WIP).Provided guidance in Agile principles to pod team members.

Served as scrum master and business systems analyst for Real Time Payments project. Provided systems analysis during vendor selection stage of project. Worked with commercial banking colleagues, operations and other BAs to develop initial project backlog. Took on role of Scrum Master for one of the pods when there was a resource constraint, allowing the project to begin on time and stay on target. Served as point of contact and gatekeeper of issues backlog between Citizens and vendor. Facilitated a daily meeting between vendor, operations, commercial banking and technology services colleagues to discuss issues, software versioning.Lead BSA on project to implement same day ACH transaction processing into Citizens. Reviewed business requirements and met with software vendors and project stakeholders to elicit technical solutions requirements that were then given to the developers so they could design the coding solution and the testers to create test scripts. Delivered knowledge transfer to the test team on the new functionality being implemented and its relation to existing processes. Provided support and SME to all project stakeholders.Contributed as BSA on project to allow international ACH transaction processing at the bank. Provided consulting services within the Customer Communication Management (CCM) industry. Performed systems analysis, solution design, development, project management for various clients. Worked on a team that evaluated vendors for a new software tool to replace a legacy customer communications system for the Social Security Administration (SSA). The selected product would speed up development of new communications from months to days or weeks. Created a list of vendor questions, interviewed vendors, wrote up assessments, and collaborated on a final evaluation document that was presented to SSA management.Used Exstream Dialogue to create quarterly investment statements for a financial services client. The resulting application generates over 900k pages of statements every quarter.Served as Exstream Dialogue subject matter expert and consultant for a large midwestern financial services client. Mentored client technical colleagues as they gained experience with Dialogue.Collaborated with business and technical personnel to develop detailed design documents and create templates for an Exstream Dialogue conversion project for a major national insurance company’s customer communications.

Responsible for project requirements analysis and taking projects through all facets of the project life cycle.

Team manager for systems team. Oversaw all aspects of the team, including receiving project requests from the client services team, reviewing, and assigning requests to team members for analysis and development. Using Exstream Dialogue and Mainframe processes (COBOL, JCL), replaced an old manual process for prospectus generation into an automated one, which cut the processing time from 2 weeks to 4 hours.Converted a manually intensive process to create fund performance reports into an automated system by coordinating efforts between client technical staff, DST tech support and DSTO imaging personnel, that reduced amount of time needed for reengineered process from hours to minutes and eliminated manual intervention.Rewrote system JCL to create several operational efficiencies that saved DSTO several hours of processing time each quarter and made job restarts easier. Net results reduced a 72-hour end-to-end process to 31 hours, a 57% reduction, and greatly reduced the risk to DSTO of missing client SLAs.

Contracted at local electric Utility (EUA). Assisted with Y2K preparation COBOL programming. Supported billing systems and assisted with development of applications in COBOL related to Massachusetts electric deregulation. Developed a system that captured EUA account history to be loaded into National Grid system (when EUA was purchased by National Grid). Created program that converted EUA account numbers into National Grid format.

Performed analysis and coding on several reports. Worked with business users in defining requirements to modify existing reports and create new ones.

Designed, coded and tested applications in a COBOL mainframe environment. Wrote a program that combined two methods for filling department store inventories that achieved more accurate fillback.
