I am a creative, strategic thinker who loves to support systemic and community change. I thrive in places that bring together a variety of disciplines and are open to innovation with purpose. My work has focused on sustainability and community impact through values-driven organizations. Some of my favourite projects: chairing the Canadian credit union system's Community Impact Committee; bringing the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials to North America; launching Living Wage Waterloo Region; developing the Peace Innovators Scholarship and Mentorship program; and authoring a 50th anniversary book - Quilting a Credit Union: Stories of Mutual Aid.I love diving into big and small societal challenges like environmental finance/regulation, cooperative governance, community investment approaches, or a great sci-fi/fantasy novel while listening to classical, folk, or pop music.
