Establish operational schedules and conduct maintenance routines, training programs and performance and reliability testing, monitoring and reporting.• Ensure the effective operation of all technical components of the Health Information Exchange.• Monitor and assist in the development of data systems architecture in the HIE cloud infrastructure. Participate in developing alternate design approaches to achieve excellence in data exchange between care providers.• Provide analysis and recommendations regarding hardware platforms and software solutions to management. Lead in systems testing and verification.• Develop monitoring and testing regimens for all aspects of the HIE and provide supporting documentation for all routine maintenance of architectural products, including architectural descriptions, EHR interfaces, procedures and training information.• Participate as a collaborator with management to plan for, implement and deploy production data services, applications, interfaces and middleware.• Through testing and monitoring routines, ensure that the HIE defined architecture enables the adherence to policies, procedures, security rules and regulations (HIPAA, NIST) to support the HIE participation agreements and user expectations for data usability, system availability, reporting and reliability.• Provide training and supervision to subordinates, contractors and temporary staff working at or with SDHC regarding system maintenance routines and operational and security issues.
