- Built 3+ databases on Microsoft Excel that tabulated various types of qualitative data (treatment, animal models, study designs) and quantitative data (endpoint, PK, PD) for 2 diseases to inform decision-making and improve study designs (informative study results, save money) through data analysis- Analyzed variability of data from multiple studies using standard statistical tests (t-test, ANOVA) via quantitative analysis software (excel, R, MATLAB, GraphPad), observing data trends and randomness- Developed 5+ models (linear regression, non-linear regression, linear mixed-effects modeling), using data from previous Takeda studies (10+ studies), that described PK, disease induction, and drug effect to construct a simulated population and bootstrap data- Performed sensitivity and power analyses on simulated data to help guide future study designs (e.g., choosing animal model, number of animals, benchmarks) to have more meaningful results- Practiced and developed an understanding of how to efficiently troubleshoot lines of code by fixing bugs that came about in the modeling and statistical analysis scripts- Demoed internship projects on a quarterly basis to various research teams and programs (liver, GI, modeling), showcasing its potential applications and collaborating to advance the project’s development- Practiced how to communicate well (meetings with my manager, initiating networking, team meetings)
