After almost 15 years of experience at the Lakewood Public Library, I remain passionate about helping to connect patrons with the information they need and providing simple and practical instruction on digital resources and devices. My professional and academic experience have fostered a great interest in user experience and highlighted the need for designers to prioritize user experience in digital and physical design. After recently receiving a Bachelor's degree in History from Cleveland State University, my next goal is to work towards an MLIS. Following that, I aim to earn an Information Science PhD to further expand my knowledge and expertise in the field and enable me to make systemic improvements at my workplace to improve patron experience and streamline employee workflow.
