Recruit, train, mentor, and actively engage volunteers in American Red Cross programs and services. Manage projects that enhance organizational service delivery to clients and expand resources region wide; and conduct community outreach campaigns and serve as key representative in the community. Accomplishments:• Assessed needs of >300 families affected by disaster and delivered products and services to support their recovery.• Increased awareness of disaster occurrence and other emergencies for more than 1200 adults and 2300 children resulting in a willingness to be more prepared.• Collaborated with regional team to re-design preparedness material, in order to lower cost of reproduction and bettermeet the needs of a younger market.• Used social media to deliver media updates and report on American Red Cross efforts during disaster responses.• Implemented a home and business disaster preparedness evaluation of staff, resulting in improved staff preparedness.• Developed succession plan for when AmeriCorps service term ended volunteers could continue preparedness efforts.

Mentores and trained youth to be more skilled in the sport of soccer so that by the time they reached high school they would be playing at an upper level. My goal was to enhance their skills in soccer while giving then encouragement and a readon to love soccer!
