I currently work in the Innovation & Enterprise team in the University of Melbourne's Research Innovation and Commercialisation department. My responsibilities include delivering strategic and operational initiatives to support the growth of an innovation and entrepreneurial culture.One of my main responsibilities is supporting management and coordination of the University’s Proof of Concept Fund. Program initiatives inform research excellence and translation by increasing the societal and economic impact of the university's research outcomes, supporting the objectives of the Advancing Melbourne 2030 Strategy.One of my main responsibilities is supporting management and coordination of the University’s Proof of Concept Fund. Funding supports University researchers develop and validate early-concept start-ups and industry solutions. This involves managing an annual $1.5M budget; managing submission, review and post-award stage of 25-30 applications per year; managing internal reporting requirements; coordinating internal and external marketing and communications; collaborating and coordinating with other innovation and research translation support teams across the University ecosystem.
