EmComm is a student-operated and faculty-advised marketing communication agency dedicated to providing students with hands-on experience in the areas of advertising, public relations, promotion, graphic design, and computer graphics.

Marketing director of Emerson’s student–operated record company. Students record, promote, and release audio CDs in the commercial market. Students work in production, engineering, marketing, public relations, business management, new media, and graphic design.

During the summer of 2017 I served as the marketing intern for the non profit organization, The National Grange. The National Grange has over 160,000 members, and Throughout the summer I was in charge of organizing their social media platforms. I was also in charge of creating content for them to generate traffic to the site. The content I created allowed their audience to stay informed of the organization's decisions on important issues that were brought up on Capital Hill. Also the content created allowed the audience to stay in tune with upcoming events, and to allow the purchases of new merchandise the organization had created. I used Adobe Premie Suite to create all the content on the social media platforms, and on a small budget used the advertising space on Facebook to reach new markets the organization had yet to reach. My greatest challenge was to reach an audience of whose average was over fifty five years and are less likely to use social media as often as others. I was able to help spread the message of the National Grange and connect members of young and old who all have the same goal of making the world a better place.
