I was responsible for entering incoming artifacts into PastPerfect, the museum's database. I took photographs of the object, wrote a detailed description, measured its dimensions, and added any additional points of interest to its entry. Once it was recorded in PastPerfect, I applied number labels to the artifact, and then recorded the location the curator chose for storage of the object.

I provide friendly and efficient cleaning services to the faculty and students at Westside Elementary School in Kimberly, Wisconsin. Every weekday after school, I perform routine cleaning duties such as vacuuming the carpets, sweeping and mopping the floors, collecting garbage, washing windows and glass doors, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down and dusting surfaces as time allows.

I interned at the Chippewa Valley Museum in order to fulfill a requirement of my graduate program. While working at the museum, I was responsible for co-curating an upcoming exhibit with three other interns. The exhibit was known as Art All Around, and its purpose was to showcase the diverse expressions of folk art in the Chippewa Valley (Northwestern Wisconsin). I was responsible for creating a section of the exhibit dedicated to folk music from multiple cultures, including Ojibwe, Hmong, Latino, German, and Scandinavian. The segment included audio samples of folk music and examples of musical instruments, including a fiddle, a concertina, a qeej (Hmong wind instrument, pronounced "kheng"), and various photographs.

I was taken in as a volunteer to assist in a large, multiyear project. This position turned into a paid, part-time job. I assisted in the accessioning of a large collection of film negatives donated by the Green Bay Press Gazette. I scanned all the negatives into the system via Photoshop, and added the scans to the museum database, Argus. I also assigned an accession number to the negatives.
