Hello, I'm Benjamin, a Year 2 Aerospace Electronics student from Singapore Polytechnic and a Private Pilot's License holder at the Singapore Youth Flying Club. My journey is fueled up by a deep-rooted passion for aviation, leading me to join the Singapore Youth Flying Club for hands-on experiences in flight simulation, aeromodelling, and even joyrides on military aircraft like the Republic of Singapore Air Force C130 Aircraft. This early exposure not only strengthened my decision to become an aviator but also instilled a keen understanding of aircraft construction and safety, reaffirming my decision to pursue a Diploma in Aerospace Electronics at Singapore Polytechnic through early admission. In my current course of study, I've learned essential topics such as circuit analysis, servomechanisms, allowing me to learn how and what type of circuits are used as well as what kind of components are utilized in an aircraft. Additionally, I also have acquired skills such as wire locking and crimping through the Aircraft Maintenance Practices module. These skills will facilitate my journey into becoming an aerospace engineer. To further enrich my knowledge on aviation, I've chosen the commercial pilot theory elective, allowing me to explore on areas like navigation, radio aids, flight planning, and instrument flying. These learning insights complement my goal of securing a Private Pilot License, supported by the comprehensive education provided by my school. In addition to my academic pursuits, my role as class Vice Chairman in secondary school allowed me to develop strong leadership and communication skills. I envision leveraging these skills not only in the aviation field but also in the engineering industry. Ultimately, my aspiration is to contribute to the aerospace field, realizing my dream of becoming a pilot and embracing the sky as my future home."Pilots take no special joy in walking. Pilots like flying." - Neil Armstrong
