Some exciting things that have happened during my career:- Student counsellor for two amazing charities and on the brink of qualifying.- Used PR magic and a calculator to get a dog into the Guinness Book of Records. Secured worldwide TV, radio, newspaper and magazine coverage for Tubby the recycling dog. Ensured he appeared on Channel 5 and the One Show. - Developed National Lottery social media campaigns which regularly reached 600,000 people a week and were rolled out across the UK. - Oversaw successful major BBC series, Village SOS; ITV Wales voting competition, People's Millions, and helped shape Secret Millions TV series for Channel 4. Filmed, produced and edited film shown on national television. - Appeared on the 2023 series of the BBC's The Apprentice.- Worked with makers of the National Lottery Draw show to ensure the Big Lottery Fund’s work in Wales was represented and was a judge on the BBC’s annual National Lottery Awards. - Introduced new strategic approach for Housing Plus Group which transformed internal and external communications, including tripling social media engagement and reducing the cost of game-changing recruitment campaigns from £1,000 to less than £100. - Launched new websites for Housing Plus Group which saw page views grow by nearly 60 per cent, introduced customer e bulletins with over 50 per cent open rates (industry norm is 24%) and oversaw and developed an award-winning intranet. The intranet had 30,000 hits a month compared to legacy sites which had a few thousand. Record results achieved with over £150,000 of savings over three years. - Lead on business strategy and operations for 7video, achieving record turnover and profit margins, more than doubling in size. We won Small Business of the Year in 2020-21.- Won NUJ reporter of the year award, six Chartered Institute of Public Relations awards, Chartered Institute of Marketing award, LG Communications award, intranet awards, 24 Housing award and internal team of the year award. - Guest speaker for the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Chartered Institute of Public Relations and Inside Housing.- Volunteer for the Teenage Cancer Trust, volunteer mentor for the Prince’s Trust and Chair of PCAS, an advocacy service supporting vulnerable people in Shropshire..
