Led international cross-functional product teams and drove the product development and release process for:- Sun Ray 3 family of thin client hardware: Sun Ray 3, 3 Plus, and 3i;- Sun Ray Next Generation- Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure through the VDI 3.0 product releases- Oracle Keyboard and MouseManaged Sustaining Engineering for the Sun Ray family of Thin Clients and peripherals: Sun Ray 2, Sun Ray 3, monitors, and input devices. Included Root Cause analysis for system issues and recommendation and implementation of Corrective Action (RCCA).Initiated and drove through the corporation the environmental certification of the Sun Ray 3 Thin Client product line from supply chain through product take back, including Energy Star, RoHS, WEEE, GRI, Reverse Supply Chain (RSCo), and EPEAT (IEEE 1680.1). Successfully achieved Energy Star and EPEAT Silver certification.

Led the cross-functional product teams and drove the product development and release process for:- the next generation of Sun Ray client hardware: Sun Ray 3, 3 Plus, and 3i;- Sun Ray Software for four product cycles: SRSS 3.1, SRS 4, SRS 4 10/06, SRS 4 9/07, SRS 4 10/08;- Sun Secure Global Desktop from acquisition and integration through three product cycles: SGD 4.2, SGD 4.3 and SGD 4.31;- Sun Virtual Desktop Infrastructure from inception through three product cycles: VDAK 1.0, VDI 1.0, VDI 2.0 and VDI 3.0;- Sun Ray Notebook, released in 2007Coordinated development of software technologies to assist the disabled (Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 508), including screen reader and magnifier and on-screen keyboard.Managed for the VDI/Desktop Product Approval Committee (PAC) and Portfolio Management Team (PMT) setting new product direction.(In 2010, Sun was purchased by Oracle Corporation.)

Managed 15 engineers and technicians developing cryogenic equipment for the semiconductor and vacuum industries with responsibility for R&D, product support, Quality Control, Design Control, sales support, manufacturing engineering, international compliance (IEEE, UL, ISO, SEMI-S2, CE-Mark, ASME, TUV, DIN, DruckbehV, ANSI, and ASHRAE standards), and the computer network.- Led the multidisciplinary team in the company's first on-time and in-budget product development and release.- Developed the first departmental budgets and presented to corporate management.- Introduced best practices including project management, requirements definition, risk assessment, and Root Cause and Corrective Action.(In 2006, IGC was purchased by Philips Electronics)

Created the firm's R&D team of engineers, designers, machinists, consultants, and strategic partners for a start-up. Job description: create a pipeline of new products to generate $85M in 6 years. - Reported monthly to the Board of Directors.- Introduced best practices including new product requirements definition and risk assessment, project planning and scheduling (MS-Project), project control, concurrent engineering, departmental budgeting, and release coordination using a formal product release process.- Introduced engineering practices of solid modeling (Pro/E), finite element analysis (FEA), stereo lithography (SLA), design for manufacture, design reviews, failure analysis, control system design, and technical compliance (IEEE, UL, ISO, SEMI-S2 and TAS, ASME, and ANSI).- U.S. Patent US 5605179 A, Integrated Gas Panel.(Insync was acquired by U.S. Filter Corporation in May 1999.)
