His deep-rooted passion for art ignited during his formative years and continued to flourish throughout his college education. Although initially enrolled as an architecture student at the University of Missouri, Ringel's artistic path took an unexpected turn as he discovered his true calling in the realm of painting. He went on to earn both a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts degree at the esteemed Art Institute of Chicago.Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a desire to explore various artistic disciplines, Ringel furthered his education at Fontbonne University. There, he delved into the world of literature, supported by a full scholarship. Seeking to broaden his creative horizons, he ventured to different cities, including Washington, where he expanded his skill set by attending classes at Seattle Central. However, it was his transformative two-year sojourn across the vibrant fashion and artistic capitals of Europe—residing in Paris, Milan, and Graz—that provided him with invaluable experiences and profound insights.Fuelled by an unwavering passion for fashion design, Benjamin Ringel set his sights on New York City, enrolling as a student at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Design.
