I started my career in hospitality and have since transitioned into a career I love as a graphic designer. I’m good with the written word and I get technology. While earning my Master of Fine Arts degree, my passion for visual arts and crafting a message that resonates has earned me my class’ Valedictorian award. My position at Apple Inc. required me to be clever, clear, and concise. I’ve already transferred these qualities to my freelance work to create content that informs, delights, and inspires.Even though I’ve gone far in the design world, working at Apple has taught me the most: to work with people during tough times, then figure out their needs and show up ready to add value to their lives. It takes passion and guts to convince people who’re against you to return, imagination and humor to keep folks checked in, and empathy and patience to provide useful feedback.
