I wrote articles recapping the games, provided analysis of Coastal's performance, interviewed players and coaches, and broke previously unreported news about the teams and players. My coverage received almost 7,000 page views and was featured in The News & Observer, The Charlotte Observer, and Yahoo.

During my internship at The Island Packet, a McClatchy-owned newspaper, I worked as the Hilton Head Island government beat reporter. I covered local government, town council meetings, affordable housing shortages, and town and county tax policy. I also helped cover the June 2022 South Carolina Primary.I filed or contributed to 22 articles that received over 48,000 page views. Additionally, I was the 15th most read reporter out of a total of 100 bylines in McClatchy South Carolina newspapers during the month of July.

During my tenure at The Eagle, we won a College Media Association Award for Best Newspaper. I also managed the expansion of the sports section staff, and my team launched two new sports podcasts. My everyday responsibilities included editing, assigning beats, pitching story ideas, recruiting, and collaborating with other managing editors.
