I'm passionate about improving STEM education through evidence-based teaching and learning practices. I believe that with today’s technologies, high-quality content, and modern teaching methods we can engage and retain more of our highly creative students in a STEM field. I spent the first part of my career at Pearson learning how to develop quality content. In 2002, I struck out on my own with the support of six scientist-entrepreneurs to build Roberts and Company Publishers. We produced over 30 titles, some of which became best sellers and won industry awards. In 2016, the company was acquired by Macmillan Learning, where I spent two years as their VP of STEM.I'm now CEO of Codon Learning where our mission is to help instructors and students apply evidence-based teaching practices.
