• Carrying out Information Security Internal Audit in conjunction with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for ISO 27001 Certification• Participating in External Audit of Information Security Audit with ISO Auditor for ISO 27001 Certification.• Carrying out follow up activities on Observations, Opportunity for Improvement (OFI), Minor and MajorNon- Conformities raised by both External and Internal Auditor.• Continuous monitoring of compliance with information security policies within the company• Monitoring of Application and General IT controls.• Reviewing stock trades execution by both Online Platforms (Meri-trade) and traders on the NASD and Nigeria Stock Exchange (NGX)• Conducting risk assessments on the company’s operation, categorizing the risk and advising on containment.• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This includes monitoring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) laws, data privacy regulations, and other regulatory requirements.• Reviewing stock trading activities in line with both organization and regulatory rules.• Preparation of Risk-based Audit Reports for the line manager review

• identification, assessment , and mitigation of information security risks that could potentially impact the organization's operations, reputation, and confidentiality of data and develop strategies to manage risks effectively while aligning with business goals in line with ISO 27000 framework. Conduct an annual risk assessment of the University in consultation with the Finance and General Purpose Committee and Management; develop an appropriate annual internal audit plan to monitor and report the adequacy and effectiveness of the University and its subsidiaries’ processes and risk management. • Coordinate and provide oversight on control and monitoring functions such as risk management, compliance, security, legal, ethics, environment and external audit. • Preparation and presentation of periodic risk-based Audit report to the Governing Council on the status and results of the annual internal audit plan for decision making. • Assess the means of safeguarding assets, review established procedures and systems and propose improvements. • Carry out ad hoc appraisals, special investigations or reviews as requested by the Governing Council, Finance and General Purpose Committee and Management • Ensuring that significant legislative or regulatory issues impacting the University are recognized and addressed timely and appropriately • Ensuring that potential fraud risk is managed; fraud deterrence controls are evaluated for adequacy and effectiveness and suspected occurrences of fraud are investigated. • Develop and implement internal audit control strategies, policies and procedures across • various departments in the University while observing effectiveness of established internal control policies, procedures and processes; and ensuring compliance with IT Policies • Lead, direct and coordinate affairs of the Internal Audit department by assigning both routine and one-off assignments to internal audit team as the job requires
