Benjamin is currently the Head of Audit Quality Assurance and Investigations at the Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) Limited. He maintains oversight responsibility of the quality of processes within the Internal Audits Division of the Bank to ensure adherence with the Global Internal Audit Standards. Benjamin is responsible for training the staff of the Division and supports the Audit Team in discharge of their duties through the various phases in the audit cycle across all the facets of the Bank's rocesses to meet stakeholders' expectations. Prior to joining CBG, Benjamin was the Head of Audit at UMB Capital. He performs and controls the audit cycle of UMB Capital and its affiliated entities (UMB Investment Holding Limited, UMB Stockbrokers and Strategic Debt Solutions). Prior to joining UMB Capital, he worked with KPMG Risk Consulting Unit for nine years, where he was responsible for managing internal audit, risk and compliance services. He gained experiences in performing data analytics, financial reviews, internal control evaluation, risk assessment, compliance and operational audits, all in line with KPMG’s procedures. He is also experienced in conducting forensic audits for clients both in public and private sectors across industries in the financial services, manufacturing, Energy and Non-Governmental Organizations. Benjamin is a product of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He holds an MBA Financial Services from the University of East London, UK, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, (ACCA) UK and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
