The Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority (PICA) is the independent financial oversight board for the City of Philadelphia. As an intern I analyzed revenue and expenditure data to assess the City of Philadelphia’s fiscal health.

The Office of Performance Management supports City departments to more effectively make data-informed decisions about their programs and services. As a Performance Management Fellow, I designed and facilitated strategic planning sessions for department leadership. I furthermore supported departments in refining their data collection efforts, and presented analysis to assist leadership in prioritizing process improvement efforts.

Rebuild Philadelphia is a $500 million initiative to revitalize neighborhood parks, recreation centers, playgrounds, and libraries across the city of Philadelphia. As an intern I developed a program logic model and constructed performance metrics for the program’s capital improvement, community engagement, and workforce diversity and inclusion efforts.

NORC at the University of Chicago is an independent research institution that provides rigorous analysis to guide policy decisions. As a Senior Research Analyst at NORC I managed team members, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure timely completion of evaluation products. I conducted data quality assessments, coding, analysis, data anonymization, and report writing. I trained supervisors and interviewers to employ survey instruments to collect accurate and precise data.

The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is an innovative and independent U.S. foreign aid agency. While on detail from NORC I worked as an analyst in MCC’s Department of Policy and Evaluation. There I supported the development of program logic models and monitoring and evaluation frameworks. I analyzed data to produce quarterly performance reports for programs in Moldova, Mongolia, the Philippines, and Zambia. These programs contained projects spanning education, water and sanitation, infrastructure, community development, and agriculture.

MicroRate is a rating agency dedicated to evaluating Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) and Microfinance Investment Vehicles (MIVs). At MicroRate I supported the credit risk assessments of several international impact investment funds.

WCCN is a non-profit impact investment fund focusing on microfinance and value-chain enhancement in Latin America. At WCCN I conducted financial and social impact analysis to facilitate investments. I developed performance benchmarks to evaluate the risk of microfinance institutions relative to the overarching financial industry.

ACCESS Development Services is a non-profit livelihoods promotion organization based in Delhi, India. While at ACCESS I supported questionnaire design for the Tribal Rural Livelihoods Project (TRLP) baseline study of 4,000 households. I administered data collection, managed the database, conducted analysis, and wrote several sections of the final report.
