CurrentOversees planning and estimation of projects while ensuring seamless project execution through mentoring, training, and career development of team members. Brings subject matter expertise to client discussions, aligning cross-functional teams around technical and business objectives.• Plan, estimate, and oversee development projects using technologies like React, Vue/Nuxt.js, and Node.js.• Mentor and train team members on using Git/GitHub, CSS preprocessors (Sass, SCSS, Less), and static site generation tools (11ty, Jekyll, Handlebars).• Promote accessibility standards and responsive design across projects, ensuring mobile-first development.• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams, QA, and clients on API integrations and analytics tracking.• Manage high-level technical issues and deliverables across frameworks like LAMP, MVC, and MERN.• Lead recruitment efforts by interviewing candidates for senior-level and junior roles within the engineering team, ensuring they align with both technical needs and company culture.• Collaborate with leadership and HR to evaluate technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and cultural fit during interviews.• Provide feedback and refine interview processes to improve hiring efficiency and candidate assessment across the organization.• Mentor leaders and senior team members, guiding them in advanced technologies, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to foster a culture of continuous learning.• Oversee performance management by setting clear goals, conducting regular 1:1s, and facilitating career development plans that align individual growth with organizational objectives.NOTE: I have been working at Level Studios full-time since February 2010, and was a contractor there starting in August 2009.
