Contracted to shore up credit and collection for the company after loss of credit manager. Setting up a collection process, writing a credit policy and training for those using the new process. I also am handling the collection of past due accounts.

Managed a portfolio with more than $485M in sales. Orchestrated operations across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, supporting 57 farm markets, 10,000 retail accounts, and Midwest wholesale. Assessed credit files worth over $250K to ensure proper documentation. Reviewed and approved/disapproved loan/credits which present complex problems. Partnered with management personnel in reviewing and rewriting credit policies. Developed an Excel computer model to assist credit managers in making credit decisions on large credit accounts. Established outside financing for clients through John Deere and Rabo Bank.

Royster Clark was bought by Agrium Inc in 2006. Oversaw $130M portfolio of credit sales for 7,500+ clients across a three-state territory. Conducted analysis and projections of financial conditions and repayment capacity for all accounts. Directed a pilot program for alternative financing, targeting the Southeastern U.S. region with Rabo Bank. Impacted cash flow $10M within one year by identifying alternative financing; immediately drove productivity and profit.Facilitated company takeover, collaborating with multiple company sites to assess customer base and develop special programs resulting in immediate increased sales and margins within territory.

VP of THE HERITAGE BANK, leading build-out of successful retail branch operation from ground-up, garnering new business among retail and commercial sources in market area. Managed all functions and had ultimate responsibility for achievement of sales goals, operational activities and staff of the branch. Promoted positive bank image in new territory.
