The blues-community needs a good radio station! And here it is: www.debluesradio.nl (DBR)! All types of great blues music can be heard. Started in april 2015, DBR brings you the best of the blues, straight from the heart of Amsterdam. 24/7 Blues music - interactive - colorful - and surprising! Listeners together create the sound of the station through rating and requesting. DBR works closely together with the Dutch Blues Foundation.

Various activities for music / media customers:Producer for several music projects and artists: Ceumar, The Eminent Stars, Bola Preta, Camilla Costa, Mendoza Dance Parti, Kokoura, Shura Lipovsky and The Shtetl Band Amsterdam. Recording voice-overs in my boutique audio-studio for TV and multimedia productions. Recording and mixing audio productions for radio, tv and internet, I am specialized in working with acoustic orientated music such as jazz, world and children music. Recording live concerts and sessions at Festival Mundial, Music Meeting, North Sea Jazz Festival, Rythm and Blues Night as well as on-location recordings in Brazil and France with live-recording and mixing (small ensembles) for radio, tv en cd productions.Concepting, filming and editing music related projects ( EPK, promotion, journalism) almost weekly for www.debluesradio.com - and previously for Radio 6- and for various other customers in the music business ( Erik Truffaz, Estrella Acosta, Ceumar, Shtetl Band Amsterdam, Gumbo Circus, Eminent Stars).

I am the founder of this independent funky record label, emerging from the Dutch Jazz Dance Scene.

I record, write, produce and engineer my own music and for various other artists. Just finished a great retro soul blues funk project called The Eminent Stars - released on LP @ Tramp Records . Have been working with the wonderful Brazilian singer Ceumar - I produced her 4th live album 'Meu Nome' and her 5th with jazztrio) , the post-punkdisco group Fata el moustache Morgana and with the great Afro-Brazilian crossover group Kokoura.

National broadcaster NTR in the netherlands is a non-profit public station on radio, tv and internet. Focussed mainly on cultural programmes. For the internet department I have worked for several programmes like Dunya en Desie, Uur van de Wolf, Sesamstraat, NPS Output, Radio 6. Now I mainly work for Radio 6 producing Youtube content and Facebook images and the NTR webchannels Jazz, Latin Roots, Blues and Soul & Funk!

For Radio 6 I produce weekly Youtube videoitems for the programme Mijke & Co Live. Every item contains at least three interviews and concert impressions. Focus on jazz, blues and soul. Another project now is Zappelin Radio targeted at Dutch children from 2 - 8 , also with great Dutch vintage childrenmusic from the 60's, 70's and 80's.
