About Ben Millen

My background is in systems design engineering and industrial design. I have worked as a design consultant on consumer, medical, digital and clean tech projects and have been involved with the development and commercialization of a wide variety of products and new technologies. Recently I have been in a design leadership role wherein most of my efforts are centred on creating the space for others to do good creative work in a technical environment. I also hold a faculty position at The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology where I teach courses on product design, mechanical design and fundamental courses in physics and thermodynamics
