Aligning our lending and small business grant programs to function as a cohesive Small Business Funding Team and maximize funding to underserved entrepreneurs. Helping to lead COVID-19 response in Oregon by distributing emergency grants and providing access to capital to entrepreneurs.

Managed revolving loan fund reporting and funder relationship with SBA while continuing to serve as primary underwriter and point of contact for microloans in region. Helped lead programmatic shift to serving more underfunded communities, increasing loans to women and communities of color from 65% collectively in 2016 to 90% in 2019.

Served as primary underwriter and point of contact for entrepreneurs seeking funding in Oregon and SW Washington, managing intake of over 300 loan inquiries annually. Closed 34 loans for a total of $286,004 in funding deployed to local small businesses.

Analyzed microloan applications for small businesses with barriers to traditional bank financing, closing 36 loans totaling $183,341. Built relationships with all who inquired and provided credit counseling, business support, and coaching related to loan readiness and access to capital.

Managed IDA matched savings grant program to startup and existing business owners to save money, receive training, create a business plan, and buy equipment for their venture. Disbursed $1,211,170 in matching grant funds to 279 small business owners, with entrepreneurs saving $518,280 during this timeframe.

Provided strategic direction for organization supporting an orphanage in Haiti of 40 children.

Provided broad services for everyday financial needs, including checking and savings accounts, mortgages, consumer lending, investment advice, and debt management. Aided in branch management of tellers and daily operations for a team of eight in a new branch setting.
