Recruited to handle administrative and financial functions during re-organization and retained by new leadership after subsequent reorganization six months later. Partnered with labor, social service, education, and high tech constituencies to implement a bold finance plan to maximize results, improving revenues and controlling spiraling costs. Directed all financial and administrative operations of the multi-million dollar budget with additional supplements from funding partnerships throughout Washington State. Provided support to and recruited and trained staff for 88 committees. • Doubled revenues from FY99 to FY00 and re-established control over costs, leading the organization away from lost productivity to strong and sustainable results.• Expanded HDCC’s major assistance program from financial support of seven “target” committees to 22, and increased average committee budgets from $75,000 to $250,000 per cycle.• Led a team that won control of the State House of Representatives in 2001 and increased representation by another two seats in 2002.
