I am a dedicated and innovative software engineer with a strong foundation in embedded systems, web development, and tooling software. With experience at leading organizations like Garmin and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and team leadership to every project. My journey in software engineering began at the University of Arizona, where I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Software Engineering. During my academic career, I have consistently excelled, earning multiple distinctions such as Dean’s List with distinction and the Engineering Honors Convocation Award. Beyond academics, I am an active member of the Software Engineering Wildcats Club and serve on the student advisory board for Software Engineering. At Garmin, I develop safety-critical embedded C software for integrated flight decks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and optimizing system functionality. My work includes creating automated regression testing suites in Python and implementing customer-requested features that enhance product performance.Previously, I was a student software developer at the University of Arizona, where I developed a full-stack web application for the Systems and Industrial Engineering Disruption Lab. This project involved creating a parser for Bayesian networks and implementing a user-friendly interface to support researchers. At NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, I led a team of interns to develop open-source software solutions for internal applications. My role included optimizing Python scripts, implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and creating new tools. My technical skills span a wide range of programming languages and tools, including C, C++, Python, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Verilog, Assembly, and Bash. I am proficient in using Git, Docker, Jenkins, Jira, and other development tools. My coursework and hands-on projects have further refined my abilities in software security, data engineering, and DevOps practices.I am passionate about continuous learning and problem-solving, always seeking opportunities to apply my skills in new and challenging environments. As I approach graduation, I am excited to explore opportunities where I can contribute to impactful projects and grow as a software engineer.
