Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Americas Applications & BPO Services - HP Enterprise Services, focusing on technical strategy planning & implementation, delivery assurance - from proposals review & approval to critical situations turnaround for US, Canada and LATAM clients spanning multiple industries supporting $3.0+ billion revenue.•Developed and implemented information technology and industry specific strategies to support $3.0B revenue business with potential 5-7 % revenue growth. Key focused areas included application, infrastructure, emerging technologies, industry roadmap & solutions, architecture/solution review, software development, strategic client delivery, and innovation. •Responsible for delivery assurance and critical program turnarounds. CTO, LATAM and Canada, HP Enterprise Services, with responsibilities for “end to end” Solutioning, client innovations and leading account chief technologists to support clients and corporate business objectives.•Developed and implemented region specific information technology and industry strategies to support $ 500M revenue business. Key focused areas included application & infrastructure portfolio, emerging technologies, and business growth.•Responsibilities for “end to end” Solutioning for LATAM and Canadian clients. Led as well as participated in new strategy development and storyboarding resulting in about 10% increased business.•Led the development and implementation of strategic clients Innovation Program in LATAM and Canada resulting in increased business and customer satisfaction. •Develop and implemented architects skills enhancement program. Developed and nurtured Architects network focusing business growth, solutioning and collaboration.•Work with HP India Lab – Innovations for the Next Billions – in prioritizing research areas where people in India and China could benefit. Chief Technologist Officer (CTO), EDS Applications Services, with responsibility of setting the operational IT strategy for global 35,000+ applications development professionals located around the globe supporting $5.5B+ EDS Revenue, and 1500+ EDS applications clients supporting multiple industries. Key focused areas included lean & agile software engineering processes & tools, software quality, metrics, applications modernization programs, deployment of strategic capabilities, reuse, emerging & disruptive technologies, development of technical leaders & SMEs in strategic areas, technical training, global technical network, supporting client & strategic new logos.•Implemented global Reuse imitative focusing on the “bottom up” approach as well as industry & cross industries solutions resulting in 15% reuse.•Led the acquisition analysis of the Indian IT and Financial companies. This resulted in EDS taking major stake in MphasiS in 2006, purchasing application/software testing vendor RelQ India in 2007, and purchasing assets of Synoran – SOA product for the Financial Industry. •Championed the first Global Applications Delivery Technology Conference.•Influenced the corporate development of the Automated Delivery for Applications Processes and Tools (ADAPT) Program intended to integrate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, tools & metrics data, leveraging technology to govern and enforce an EDS standard quality way of doing business. •Led a cross-function team of EDS Fellows and Distinguished Systems Engineer to turn EDS’ marketing message on Designed for Run into implementable strategies with measurable metrics.•Leads technical teams for turning around client & project critical situations saving millions of dollars and retaining key clients who otherwise would leave HP/EDS.
