- Accountable for the overall SEO strategy of the AsiaRooms.com brand (part of The LateRooms Group), focusing on functional enhancements to the transactional sites and utilising content via the community to drive brand, naturally acquire links and drive social interactions.- AsiaRooms was acquired by TUI PLC previously, and had a significant number of challenges around their backlink portfolio, so much of the focus was around removing toxic backlinks and improving the overall portfolio by driving natural link acquisition through content marketing.- As a result of this work we were able to get a Google penalty lifted on the AsiaRooms.com domain.- Defined and delivered a brand new travel community site and built up a team of 4 excellent individuals within a period of 5 months. - Launched and executed the AsiaRooms annual hotel awards to drive exposure with the hoteliers and link acquisition via winner and finalist badges embedded on their sites.- Successfully generated partnerships and links from many high authority sources, including the likes of Yahoo News and Travel Supermarket.- Created a highly successful outreach program, which at one point included more than 50 regular travel bloggers right across Asia, producing content for us for free.
