Ben’s childhood consisted of early mornings detasseling corn in the expansive fields of Iowa. With an upbringing in the heartland, he learned many lessons of perseverance, determination and countless hours on the wrestling mat. Ben received his Bachelor’s Degree in Land Use Planning from Iowa State University and then headed West to the Rocky Mountains to pursue his Masters degree. As a licensed architect and land use planner, Ben is experienced in all phases of commercial architecture. He has been involved in a wide range of projects, overseeing the success of smaller tenant upfits to a $95M mixed-use building in the mountains of Colorado. Ben’s passions have led him to be a founding partner of STITCH design shop. These passions include master planning, architecture, strategic planning and project management. When not engaged in the creation of a project you can find Ben hanging out with his wife Lindsey and son Arlo or fly fishing on one of the amazing eastern rivers.
