I had the benefit of completing a career experience as a Business Expert. The expectation of the role was to drive revenue growth by becoming a trusted adviser to businesses throughout my market. Primarily working with SMB’s, I introduced Apple solutions, technology and services to help drive change and innovation across multiple sectors and develop a strategy for the clients future. Whether it was via phone, email or briefing I worked with the businesses on projects of varying scale from a sole trader looking to take mobile payments on their iOS devices through to large scale deployments of both iOS and MacOS products utilising a Mobile Device Management platform and the Device Enrolment Program that Apple have available.

I began working for the Co-Operative during my final 2 years of university and ended up staying until after I graduated. I began working on the tills on a part-time basis and during holidays from university whilst I stayed in Stafford, I was able to take on more hours and some limited responsibility. My main responsibilities were to maintain standards at the point of sale with customers and eventually found myself training new members of the team about the tills and various other processes related to the way that the store was ran. I was due to expand my responsibilities and take charge of a specific produce section within the store as I left to start my employment with Apple in late 2014.

As a small team of 5 members, we're all responsible for many different things. Here are some of the hats I've had to wear for Ascension: Arenas of War.- Games Design. Working with other members of the team to discuss all design directions for the current projects including level design, character design, weapon design and the design and implementation of core gameplay mechanics- 3D modeling. I worked on a majority of the environmental art and the initial models for the weapons that feature in Ascension: Arenas of War. - Marketing. Working with the other members of the team to discuss and then implement how we should announce and bring our work to market. This involved work on the games trailers that was edited by another member of the team. - Business. This part of my work involved arranging meetings with our board of directors and making sure that the business was up to date with all relevant paperwork with companies house.

Whilst working for Rottner and Rudge, I had several responsibilities. Primarily, I began the job as a shop assistant working behind the till being responsible for customer interactions in a busy petrol station. Over time I began to take on more responsibility and ended up training new members of staff when they came onboard and was also a key bearer being responsible for both opening and closing down the shop myself with responsibilities such as cashing up at the end of an evening and making sure that all paperwork was completed properly for the admins to confirm the next morning before making sure that the site of the petrol station was secure before leaving. I ended up having a fantastic relationship with the owners and the permanent staff there and was able to sustain part time hours when returning home from university within the holidays.
