Developed and optimized a variety of cell based assays using human and mouse tissue. Presented data in weekly group meetings.Provided support to anti-BDCA2 project- Used confocal microscopy to visualize ligand-induced internalization of the BDCA2 receptor on plasmacytoid DCs isolated from human peripheral blood.- Developed a protocol to determine intracellular localization of internalized BDCA2 receptor using confocal microscopyDeveloped murine model of lupus in B6 background- Weekly administration of foreign cells (irradiated B6 thymocytes) to NADPH KO mice.- Test for levels of anti-DNA and anti-nuclear antibodies by ELISA to confirm disease state

Working within the Transplantation Research Center, designed and executed experiments in murine models of autoimmune disease with the goal of preventing or prolonging rejection of transplanted tissues in humans. Responsible for maintaining the mouse colony and optimizing breeding efficiency of over 20 strains of mice. Genotyped knockout strain using PCR and gel electrophoresis. Phenotyped knock-in and overexpressing strains using FACS.
