Digital Communications Manager - UT College of Arts and SciencesWork collaboratively as part of a team of communication professionals to provide expertise and implement strategies for website projects, digital content and design, and data analytics.-Develop, design, maintain, and update existing websites and other electronic media and assist with migration and creation of content into modern content management systems to ensure content sustainability and consistency of digital brand standards across all college web properties-Manage use of the email marketing platform for the college, create templates for all email needs, and distribute targeted emails/e-newsletters to a variety of internal and external audiences-Work with college constituents to ensure website content is accurate, up-to-date, and within brand-Monitor digital media platforms and provide reports on analytics to inform strategic and content planning-Coordinate the college social media ambassador program and work with faculty in each department to recruit and train students to be social media ambassadors for each unit and the college-Utilize the project management platform to create and manage digital project planning and prioritize work for all units in the college in order to meet deadlines-Liaise with the UT Office of Information Technology for technical website issues and ensure the college’s digital portfolio is secure and running at maximum efficiency-Create occasional graphics for social media and website posts-Participate in the UT communication communities and completes professional development opportunities to keep knowledge and skills updated

-Provide leadership in areas of communication, recruitment and development. Lead and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies.- Create and implement recruitment strategies for graduate and undergraduate programs through conference presentations, outreach seminars, on-campus programming, relationship management, pipeline development, mentor networking, and targeted, collaborative recruitment with other departments, programs, and the Graduate School.- Travel to national and regional conferences, feeder schools, and other community events to build partnerships and to recruit students.- Serve on admissions and recruitment committees.- Lead communication and branding efforts, provide guidance to faculty, students, and staff to create and maintain a cohesive and positive brand.- Master various student, alumni, and donors information systems to provide data analyses for proposals and reports.- Develop relationships with alumni, donors, and friends of the department.- Write for digital and print communications including web, social media, and newsletters.- Design and edit bi-annual newsletters and quarterly e-newsletters.- Develop and maintain departmental websites and social media accounts. - Create social media campaigns.- Supervise research group website specialists and social media ambassadors.- Supervise office staff to deploy Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, such as CollegeNet and Slate for effective communication and data organization-Plan, administer, and steward budget for recruiting account-Organize NSF-funded summer research program, annual research open house, student on-campus visitation program, and Board of Visitors annual meeting.-Maintain a developed succession plan
