I'm currently working as a senior back-end developer. My day-to-day includes making architectural decisions around how we structure and develop our core systems, code reviews, providing guidance to developers, and personally working on code for more complex aspects of the systems.Our systems also have a client-facing API component & part of the role also includes liaising with the different corporate clients to facilitate smooth integration with our systems.

Working closely with the different company heads, I took control of all the company platforms managing all feature requests and new development plans. I created and executed a recruitment plan for putting in place an IT team responsible for the company platforms, network infrastructure, and door access system, the plan included sourcing, interviewing (on a technical level), and training of the new staff.My day-to-day involved prioritizing the different feature requests coming in and managing the IT team on all the company IT requirements.

Working as a freelance developer on Elance.com my responsibilities include, development of web applications under tight deadlines and within specified budgets, constantly communicating with the client on the project specifications, and delivering quality work on time.I worked with different languages and frameworks including, but not limited to Joomla, Magento, PHP, jQuery, XML, XHTML, MySQL, C#
