Rotating Equipment Commissioning engineer for the Wheatstone platform, on secondment from Woodside Energy to Chevron

Primary tasks† Rotating equipment surveillance to proactively detect, predict and prevent equipment failures.† Day-to-day operational and maintenance technical support.† Defining scope of maintenance repairs, for both breakdowns and planned maintenance.† Defining and continuously improving maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and availability, in the context of maximizing value to the business.† Root cause analysis; applying structured problem solving methods to resolve complex problems.† Rotating Equipment shutdown support; technical focal point for the overhaul of rotating equipment for all types of rotating equipment employed in the oil & gas industry.Specific Equipment and Systems† GE LM6000PD aero-derivative gas turbines, Woodward Micronet turbine control system† GE Oil & Gas (GENP) Frame 3/2, 5/1, 5/2 and 7 Industrial Gas Turbines, GE MkV and MkVI turbine control system.† Variety of both centrifugal and axial compressors from OEM’s including GE (Nuovo Pignone), Siemens, Thomassen, Mitsubishi, Mitsui, CCC series 4 and series 5 surge control system.† Cryogenic pumps, including both Nikkisso and Ebara make.† Variety of API610 process pumps and others.

Rotating equipment engineer for the Pluto LNG Facility in North West Australia during the commissioning and start up phase through to steady state operations.Support, coordinate and oversee rotating equipment commissioning activities. Offshore Start up and commissioning of the FPSO Okha. From the introduction of hydrocarbon on board through to gas commissioning and first offtake, until steady state operation is achieved and full facility handover is completed from contractor to company. Including construction and commissioning activities in Singapore.

Worked as a mechanical facility engineer on Woodside's Goodwyn Gas and Condensate asset on the North West Shelf. Responsibilities included providing front line support, defining scope for small to medium sized jobs and managing the technical integrity of the facility.
