As internal commissioner of the board of International Study Association Umami, I am mainly concerned with the management and communication of the 3 sub-committees. It is my responsibility to keep an eye on their proper and effective functioning throughout the academic year.

Using a static in-vitro model, I investigated how different processing parameters and food matrices influence the digestive behavior of pea protein in the gastrointestinal tract. By understanding the mechanisms underlying protein digestibility and bioaccessibility, we are able to help formulate the foods of the future.Methods used:- Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy- Electrophoresis- High-Performance Liquid Chromatography- o-Phtalaldehyde (OPA) analysis- Spectrophotometry

As one of the people in charge of the team I make sure everything on the work floor runs smoothly, make sure the guests are satisfied and I think along about improvements regarding the service/products. As the supervisor I was responsible for the productivity and actions of a group of +/- 20 employees.

Brownies&downieS offers people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to gain experience in a professional, traditional and guest-oriented catering company. During this period I guided and supported the employees in performing various catering tasks.
