Key responsibilities include:Help Desk Operations: • Ensuring uninterrupted operation of the help desk by delivering expert 2nd and 3rd line support for a diverse range of technical issues.Office Network Design and Implementation: • Spearheading the development of our new office infrastructure, including building and configuring networks, equipment, and video conferencing (VC) solutions. • Establishing high availability systems and designing, testing, and implementing robust VPN solutions.Mobile Device Management (MDM): • Designing and deploying a comprehensive Intune-based MDM system from scratch. • Leading the rollout of BYOD and corporate mobile management strategies to enhance device management and security for over 300 devices.Infrastructure Automation: • Creating bespoke PowerShell automation solutions for user and device management, leveraging Microsoft DevOps for streamlined operations. • Enhancing infrastructure automation capabilities by developing and maintaining solutions using Terraform.Fortinet Network Infrastructure: • Taking ownership of the existing Fortinet network, providing full support, troubleshooting, and optimisation. • Playing a key role in the evaluation and replacement of legacy systems with modern solutions.Incident Response and Recovery: • Serving as a crucial team member during incident response and recovery efforts to minimise operational disruptions.Cybersecurity Collaboration: • Partnering with the cybersecurity team to proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve vulnerabilities, strengthening the organisation’s security posture.
