As a marketing technology intern at Brandt Information Services, I’ve worn many different hats. Whether working to create content for state wildlife agencies or behind the scenes to automate emails and push notifications, working at Brandt has helped me grow my technical skills.

At SchneiderB Media, I have been in charge of blog writing and editing, graphic creation, and blog publishing. I work with our client schools to develop content they want to see on their homepages and create blogs and corresponding graphics.

I helped to develop new meetings and inquiries for SchoolBI and led our outreach to possible new clients through targeted campaigns with the goal of getting more schools to use SchoolBI's product. Mainly focused on lead generation and outbound sales.

During my summer with Blackbaud, I worked directly with the communications team on multiple short and long term projects. I assisted on the revamp of company-wide internal communications, drafted press releases for special events, and helped work on content for Blackbaud's bbconn, a tech conference with a focus on social good. I also helped track content and press engagements using Cision and became well-versed in the product by the end of the internship.

The Amherst Community Foundation is a charitable organization with the goal of enhancing the quality of life in Amherst by raising and providing funds for programs that benefit our community. I have produced press releases and other PR related content for the ACF on a part time basis.

During the summer I spent with York.IE, I got my first look at the life of Public Relations and Marketing professionals. Through drafting press releases, working one on one with startup founders and creating blogs and other content, I was able to gain a lot of experience while being dealt a good bit of responsibility.
