• Led a team of five developers in building a web based order entry system responsible for submitting 80-85% of all scholastic orders electronically to Jostens. Responsible for overall architecture and design of application including rich web user interface that provides a user experience that closely benchmarks the desktop client it replaced.• Rich User Interface makes use of jQuery, jQueryUI, AJAX, JSON, jQGrid, SlickGrid and other technologies to provide an ultra-responsive user interface.• Designed process to manage namelist data and prevent duplicate names from being saved during the normal data entry process as well as the newly created buyer and quote extracts.• Responsible for developing java applet which allows for cross-browser support of signature scanning functionality using a TWAIN compliant scanner. Applet allowed scanning in all browsers, not just Internet Explorer.• Application delivered on time and on budget with minimal support issues during its first two years of operation.

• Tech lead on a project to develop an order entry and tracking website for a DVD product that was a supplement to our yearbooks. Oversaw one developer and mentored one intern during the development and testing process. Website was developed using ASP, DHTML, and CSS. Oracle was used as the data store.• Led a team of developers in creating an order entry system for our sales force to replace a more manual centralized process. Designed and developed many areas of the application including the scanning process that extracted form data and exported it to our database with the help of character recognition software and the user interface that handled the product configuration during the order taking process. • Developed many other websites and applications pertaining to sales planning and ecommerce.
